While Mama is working...

February is indeed the most busy month of my life since I started working at ABS-CBN Baguio, 7 years ago. And this year, though I turned over my slot as the Executive Producer of the live coverage, I still need to help, monitoring all elements be present. But this year is special, because my family got to witness how I work.

As early as 3am, I was already up to prepare everything. By 4am Ezra is being glamed up for the event. It was 12 degrees in Baguio but thank goodness for winter jumpsuits, Im at peace he wont catch any cold. Plus the fact that he is still a BF (breastfed) baby!

They enjoyed staying at the barricaded area of our set up watching the street and float parade without worrying on space, possible disease and others.

Mama's work lasted till 12nn. And my son slept, slept and slept. thanks to the very handy Baby K'tan. It has never let us down.

Yes we can bring ur children to work so they may appreciate what we do for them. But the reality is it somehow saddens me that I need to bring my 6 mos old son to work EARLY and somehow stress him instead of being comfy on his bed sleeping till 6-7pm. So next time, I will let him in my work when he's a bit older and can really understand why do Mama needs to become a working Mom.

Affordable high chair anyone?

PictureEzra is turning 7 mos this February 5 and one of his necessities-- high chair! Since January this Mama who wants to get quality products in its most affordable way searched for a high chair to pass her requirements. And viola! Presenting the IKEA ANTILOP HIGH CHAIR!

A potable high chair with its sleek design which comes with a snap on tray. Though it does not have the functions of the other high chair which can be adjusted in height, recline, or swivel, still is one of the parent's favorite due to its easy clean design and affordability. A separate support cover and pillow is available separately which I did not purchase (hehehe). This will be washed after every meal because children are you know messy when eating.

Aside from the Antilop high chair, we also purchase a IKEA Mata feeding set which resembles the frog! With the very useful bib which will collect food or water falling from the bib itself, this product will surely make Mama's job of cleaning easier!

I ordered all items from AYKEYA via Instagram. Their service is so fast, I am expecting these goodies to arrive this coming February 28 but I got the items yesterday *Feb 24) upon payment to their BDO account last Feb 23. Cherry did trust her clients after all. I spent P1775 for the high chair, the meal set and the shipment Great deal right? I'm a one satisfied customer, one satisfied Mama!

Bloom with Panagbenga

As soon as 2015 marked its first day, the busiest season of my life has begun. Preparation for Panagbenga Festival has already started, And to date, with only three days remaining, I got the chance to share my work with my family.

As a back story, My mother went up to Baguio to take care of my son, Israel Ezra. And so for them to be familiar with each other, a walk through the Landscaping area where gardeners and landscapers exhibit their talents and their craftsmanship through flowers, bushes, stones and others creating beautiful landscapes.

This stroll is also somehow a way to honor my Mama. I appreciate my Mama more as Ive become a Mama myself, Really, motherhood is the best career a woman can have. Tiring yet priceless.

How do show your appreciation to your mom?
